KEVIN was inspired and guided by three starters:

Limits: We started researching on the concept of ‘limits’ by physically limiting our disciplines and some of this research led to new vocabularies of sounds and movements that we decided to show on stage. However, the performance is not ‘about’ limits.

Electronic music: Not so much to listen to, but for what it represents for us. Electronic music is not necessarily asked to have a ‘meaning’ or to ‘talk’ about something. It is a collection of sounds chosen by the artist and arranged according to the artist's taste. That’s exactly how our project is convinced: we show things that have our taste, but which don’t necessarily have to mean or explain something. There’s nothing we decided that the audience should understand.

Destruction: we believe that there is a natural human attraction to watching things being destroyed, and as perverse as this is, it makes us human fascinated by this action. For this reason we smash blocks of ice on stage, melt them by making them disappear, deform the body and cut the strings of the guitar until it is deconstructed piece by piece. 

We show desire in creating, we indulge pleasure in destroying.
